ISO 9001:2008 Certification

ISO 9001:2008 Certification

The iso 9000 range of standards relate to quality management systems and are designed to help organizations meet internal quality standards as well as the requirements of customers and trading partners.

The standards are published by ISO (International Organization for Standardization).

Third party certification bodies, like QAC, provide independent approval that an organization meets the requirements of the ISO 9001:2008 standard and then issue an ISO9001:2008 registration certificate and authorize the organization to display an ‘ISO 9001 Registered’ logo.

ISO Assured ISO 9001:2008 Certification process

We offer a simple, smart, certification process that can be adapted to meet the requirements of your organization. With our flexible approach you can apply and pay online, be assessed within hours and in some cases we can issue a certificate within 24 hours assuming satisfactory evidence of compliance has been provided.

Certificates are issued electronically and uploaded to your secure workspace and a paper copy is also posted out. ISO 9001 logos will be available in your client area of our web site for you to download and use as soon as you are registered to the standard.

Initial Assessment

Initial assessment allows us to establish where your organization is with regards compliance with the standards. If you already have systems in place and / or have existing certification with another registration body you may be able to proceed directly to final assessment.
Document Review

The standard specifies six compulsory documents:

Control of Documents (4.2.3)
Control of Records (4.2.4)
Internal Audits (8.2.2)
Control of Nonconforming Product / Service (8.3)
Corrective Action (8.5.2)
Preventive Action (8.5.3)

In addition to these, ISO 9001:2008 requires a quality policy and Quality Manual (which may or may not include the above documents).
Final Assessment

In addition to the document review we will also try to gather evidence that the systems have been fully implemented and are working effectively.
